SAMYUKTA : CALL FOR PAPERS

Special Issue on Health Humanities

Health Humanities emerged in the early 21st century as a critical response to the limitations of the biomedical model that shaped Medical Humanities. This interdisciplinary field highlights the role of empathy, narrative, and critical reflection in improving healthcare practices and outcomes. By engaging with diverse narratives and emphasizing inclusivity, Health Humanities fosters a more holistic, socially responsive, and equitable approach to health, illness, and care.

Samyukta Vol.10, no.2 (July 2025) is a special number dedicated to Health Humanities, with focus on critical engagements at the intersection of health and humanities.
